New Book: "Le Tir à l'Arc"
By le Cte Albert de Bertier, V. Cordier, A. Guglielmini, 1900.
French language archery book aimed to be a standard reference for archery, in the style of the Badminton Library of Sports: Archery, by Longman et al.
Subjects range from archery in prehistoric and ancient times, hunting, warfare, contemporary archery around the world, French and British archery societies in the 19th century, contemporary archery practices in France, Belgium, U.S.A and United Kingdom. It also includes a chapter with shooting instructions, archery terms and various regulations.
This book will be put online part by part during the next months. This first part includes the initial pages and the foreword.

Major maintenance update
Major maintence work was carried out on the site design:
- appearance was slightly modernised
- navigation for mobile devices was improved
- redesign of print gallery
- cookie compliance script for EU-countries
- several improvements to the underlying code
- support for older browsers was discontinued. A recent browser or at least IE 10 or equivalent is recommended.

New Book: "Archery Simplified"
by Phillip Rounsevelle, 1931.
Book aimed at teaching archery, not only archery technique, but how to teach an archery class.
The author was the owner of The Archer's Company, formed in the early 1920's and was one of the best known companies in the 1920's in the USA. They were located in Illinois, New Orleans and later Pinehurst, NC.
